Job summary

Google Global Fleet (GGF) seeks a Tier-1 leader to develop capacity planning, forecasting, and allocations systems for Cloud and product-area facing retail capacity products. You will work with business leaders to provide solutions for demand planning and use AI to accelerate tools and analytics for Google’s capacity delivery.

US-based compensation includes a base salary, 30% bonus target, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in distributed computing infrastructure.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering preferred.
• 10 years of experience building and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution leadership on software engineering projects (resourcing, prioritization, partner team interlock, scoping).
• Set the technical, organizational and business strategy in partnership with technical leads and managers, outlining the team charter and 2-3 year deliverables.
