Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a Global Purchasing Manager to lead global category strategies for flavor-related materials such as aroma chemicals and essential oils. Based in Hunt Valley, MD, you will develop and execute procurement plans, drive cost reductions, and manage supplier performance to deliver optimal value for the organization.

You will coordinate strategy with Global Procurement and business leaders, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with OGSM and planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment.
• Proven experience with cost savings initiatives.
• Flavor industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and executes strategies for categories globally.
• Leads supplier performance management to ensure optimal TCO.
• Develops strategies to achieve lowest total cost while mitigating risk.
• Directs recruitment and development to maintain effective supply sources.
• Supports divisional projects with purchasing guidance and leadership.
• Participates in financial planning and provides market insights to stakeholders.
