Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance Accountant to manage statutory accounting, reporting and audits for global entities.

The role offers a potential flexible schedule after onboarding and performance milestones, with a full-time 8:00am–5:00pm shift in Greensboro, NC. You will drive improvements in accuracy, efficiency and control of international reporting, prepare statutory statements, and coordinate close activities with internal and external partners across

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain global statutory accounting, reporting and audit processes for legal entities.
• Ensure filings comply with local statutory requirements and deadlines.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and reconciliations.
• Assist with process improvements for international statutory reporting.
• Prepare legal entity financial statements and disclosures.
• Coordinate timelines with internal and external partners.
