Job summary

Canadian Solar is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting, Global to lead monthly global group consolidation and financial reporting for North America and EMEA regions. You will partner with regional controllers to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP while coordinating with external auditors.

The role requires 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, a CPA designation, and hands-on consolidation in a public company environment.

Qualifications

BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related field with professional designation preferred.
10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience, with public company exposure.
3+ years in consolidation or financial reporting; Big Four background valued.
Experience with SEC filings and US GAAP important.

Responsibilities

Oversee the monthly global group consolidation and analytical review process.
Prepare and organize group financial statements, audit schedules, consolidation proofs, notes to the financial statements.
Review data from subsidiaries with regional controllers ensuring US GAAP compliance.
Maintain the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system and lead enhancements.
Identify improvements to accounting policies and internal controls.
Support SEC reporting requirements for the US-listed parent.
Liaise with external auditors and advisors.
Perform other duties as required.
