Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of financial products.
• General ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with financial reporting and month end close responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/database skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of GL balance sheet accounts and adherence to GLA standards.
• Maintain P&L and balance sheet controls and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Analyze variances between GL and upstream systems.
• Collaborate with controllers, middle office, business managers, tech and ops.
• Understand end-to-end trading flow to apply accounting policies and strengthen controls.
• Ensure integrity of income statement and balance sheet at close periods.
• Support NBFR initiatives and serve as subject matter expert for financial control.
• Propose process or infrastructure improvements with stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of primary financial statements for earnings releases and SEC filings.
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments.
• Perform control procedures to strengthen the control environment.
