JPMorgan seeks a Financial Controller within the Corporate & Investment Bank to ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Firm's books, with emphasis on general ledger controls, balance sheet substantiation and month-end close.

• 1+ years accounting, finance or industry experience.
• Basic understanding of financial instruments and accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with general ledger processes and month-end close workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Support balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation activities.
• Ensure GL accuracy across month-end close and upstream systems reconciliation.
• Collaborate with line-of-business controllers, middle office, technology and operations.
• Analyze variances between the general ledger and upstream systems.
• Oversee consolidation and intercompany eliminations as part of financial reporting.
• Prepare primary financial statements for earnings releases and SEC filings and maintain control procedures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance controls and streamline processes.
