Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking a Director of the Strategic and Tactical Opportunities team to lead the U.S. market expansion from our New York office. The role collaborates with partners, leadership, and clients to set priorities, guide projects, and allocate resources globally.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with travel to client locations and other offices worldwide, requiring strong analytical and strategic delivery at senior levels.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• JD or MBA or equivalent advanced degree expected.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, investment management, equity research, management consulting, strategic advisory, corporate finance, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with senior partners, client teams, and firm leadership to provide informed market insights.
• Maintain a continuous market view, identify signals and themes across markets.
• Translate market developments into differentiated, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities across sectors, geographies, products, and transactions.
• Lead high-profile projects from inception to delivery with rigorous quality outputs.
• Protect confidential information and maintain data integrity.
• Experience working with law firms, professional services firms, institutional investors or related stakeholders.
