Job summary

HOPE International is seeking an International Accountant to act as a finance business partner for Savings Group programs, delivering financial analysis, budgeting, and consolidation across HOPE’s network. The role emphasizes internal controls, audit support, and capacity building for local teams.

You will conduct month-end close, financial reporting, and issue resolution, while promoting compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Experience with reconciliations, close, reporting, audit, or internal controls is needed.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS; ability to apply guidance in practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance business partner for Savings Group programs across HOPE network.
• Perform month-end close, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting tasks.
• Support internal audits, control improvements, and compliance reviews.
• Prepare analyses and schedules for management reporting and external audits.
