Job summary

Gideons International seeks a Manager of Finance & Accounting to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the global organization. You will coordinate with departments, present to senior leadership, and ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

The role oversees inventory costing, annual audits, and staff mentoring, while driving process improvements to support the mission and provide reliable management reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years finance and accounting management experience.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Familiarity with non-profit accounting.
• NetSuite by Oracle Accounting software experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret extensive technical and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and presentation of annual budget for the global organization, including forecasting, planning and coordination across all departments, consolidation and analysis of budget requests, and presentation to Senior Leadership Team.
• Prepare budget proposals and accompanying reports and analysis for Finance Committee and International Cabinet review and approval.
• Drive projects to improve supply chain processes by leaning processes, reducing cost, accelerating lead-times, and improving customer experience.
• Ensure accurate costing and tracking of global inventory.
• Active participation in the annual financial audit process utilizing experience in GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
• Forecast inventory costs as part of regular cash flow forecasting and review.
