CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a Global Finance Lead in Atlanta to partner with regional business leaders, drive financial performance, and ensure accurate reporting across jurisdictions. The Global Finance Lead serves as the senior financial partner for the business, providing strategic oversight, rigorous fiscal management, and operational leadership. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring statutory compliance across diverse jurisdictions, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership to support business growth and profitability.
Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles for the client. Develop models to track regional performance against business goals and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, including P&L oversight, balance sheet management, and working capital optimization. Ensure consistency in reporting standards across all client relationships.
Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic advisor to regional business leaders. Provide regular financial analytics to support decision-making, contract profitability assessments, and investment analysis.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all financial operations comply with local statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal corporate policies. Oversee internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership: Oversee and develop the local finance team. Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the regional finance function.
Process Optimization: Drive the implementation of global finance initiatives and system improvements within the region to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience within a multinational corporation or complex, multi-site environment is required.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent), and business intelligence tools.
Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fiscal, regulatory, and business environments.
Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, and navigate ambiguity in a high-growth environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic business narratives.
