Job summary

VUMI is seeking a Finance & Accounting Supervisor in Miami to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and maintain robust internal controls across the finance function.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, 3–5 years in a managerial role, and fluency in English and Spanish. You will manage treasury, statutory reporting, and partner with auditors, regulators, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close with emphasis on external audits.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local requirements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger.
• Monitor reserves and technical provisions in coordination with actuarial teams.
