Job summary

gpac is seeking a Field Service Technician to support high-value industrial machinery at customer sites. You will install, commission, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read blueprints, and train customer personnel.

Travel about 75% domestically, with occasional international assignments. The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience documenting field service reports and recommendations.
• Strong communication and independent problem-solving in customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, commission, and optimize new industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the field.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Work with customer personnel to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete Field Service Reports detailing work performed and findings.
• Travel domestically ~75% of the time, with occasional international travel.
