Candela Corporation seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer to support Candela equipment in the assigned territory, install, repair, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance. The role requires extensive travel to service calls and occasional weekend work for trade shows and customer repairs.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in service, an AS degree in electronics, and the ability to manage accounts while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a service representative role.
• AS degree in electronics or equivalent, combined with the above experience level.
• Team player, proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install/remove/repair and upgrade; preventative maintenance and sell service contracts.
• High level of account management.
• Performs installations and service repairs.
• 100% traveling position; may be gone from home base up to 5 days per week with in/out of territory service calls.
• Weekend work required to support trade shows, workshops and customer repairs.
• Sell service contracts; 100% participation for all monthly contract and warranty expirations.
• Provide high level of communication to Dispatch, Regional Manager and customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory of trunk stock parts.
