Job summary

GRAM is seeking a Field Engineer, Global Deployments based in El Segundo to prepare, deploy, instrument, and support its robots at sites worldwide. You will assemble equipment, run readiness checks, and operate systems per established procedures while collaborating with customers, local crews, and GRAM's engineering team.

The role involves instrumentation, data collection, sensor calibration, and telemetry setup, with domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, testing, maintaining, or operating robots, drones, vehicles, or other electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots, tools, spares, equipment, and deployment records. Run readiness checklists and confirm site requirements, logistics, acceptance checks, and recovery plans with engineering and site teams.
• Bring up, configure, calibrate, operate, maintain, and recover integrated robotic systems within approved procedures and site authority.
• Perform first-line mechanical, electrical, connectivity, and data troubleshooting using inspection, measurements, logs, and documented procedures.
