Job summary

Kosmos is seeking a Field Process Engineer to qualify processes and provide acceptance testing of MO/CVD semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will liaise between customers and internal teams during the acceptance process, and support process optimization, maintenance, and customer training.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience using statistical analysis programs to analyze process data.
• Ability to write formal reports documenting field activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement equipment (semiconductor) process recipes and process parameters according to customer specifications.
• Provide sustainable process support at selected key and strategic customers.
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations on various AIXTRON equipment located at customer sites and/or application labs.
• Define and describe equipment process performance specifications for customer applications by evaluating customer process methods, facilities, materials, patterns, measurement equipment and procedures.
• Provide support for sales department including demonstrations and information on technical and design issues.
• Assists with the installation, technical system check, and commissioning of equipment (if necessary, worldwide).
• Communicate with customers in order to analyze specific needs and requirements within the after sales operations.
