Job summary

AppViewX in Austin, TX is seeking a Principal Presales Solution Architect (Global Field CTO) to lead agentic identity security strategy, engage CISOs and CTOs, and own the AIS pre-sales technical backbone across global markets.

You will build and demo complex environments, shape the AIS narrative with analysts, and partner with product and GTM teams to accelerate revenue while mentoring the field teams and driving sell-ready readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise security pre-sales, solutions architecture, or senior technical leadership.
• Deep knowledge of agentic identity, non-human/workload identity, and IAM concepts.
• Proven external-facing evangelist with conference talks or analyst engagements.
• Hands-on ability to build and demo complex technical environments.
• Experience engaging CISO- and CTO-level stakeholders on strategic deals.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% for customer and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AppViewX's foremost technical voice on AIS in the field and public forums.
• Own AIS Use Case Map, Demo Runbook, and reference architectures used globally.
• Design flagship AIS demo environments and POC/POV frameworks.
• Partner with AIS product engineering to translate roadmap into sellable capabilities.
• Lead or co-lead strategic AIS opportunities with regional SE teams.
• Architect and execute high-stakes AIS POCs/POVs with defined success criteria.
• Mentor SE Leads and build AIS training materials.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on AIS roadmap priorities.
