Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager for Fiber Optic Cables to drive end-to-end programs within the Networking Procurement team. You will partner across stakeholders to optimize sourcing, manage supplier performance, and deliver scalable, data-informed processes for AWS Infrastructure.

You will lead initiatives to improve on-time material availability, reduce costs, and communicate program progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
Experience using data/metrics to drive improvements.
Cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
Knowledge of infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies.
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

Develop new concepts and operating models to deliver impactful changes in sourcing.
Work with supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and on-time material availability.
Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
Evaluate and monitor performance of suppliers.
Lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
