Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated Material Supply Chain Manager to own the connectivity and fiber material category end to end for a global network. You will define sourcing strategy, lead supplier negotiations, and secure supply across regions to meet tight build schedules.

You will work with legal, finance, engineering, and program teams to set guardrails, qualify new suppliers, and drive cost reduction and dual sourcing. Travel 25-50% is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or commercial vendor management.
• Experience building demand forecasts and supply plans that support deployment schedules.
• Experience originating and negotiating supply agreements and contract structures, and managing supplier performance.
• Experience defining and executing a category or sourcing strategy across multiple teams or geographies.
• Experience with dual sourcing and supply risk mitigation across global suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own the supply chain strategy for a defined connectivity and fiber material category and carry the commercial relationship with suppliers.
• Build the demand forecast and supply plan that keeps programs on schedule across regions.
• Originate and negotiate new contract structures, pricing, capacity commitments, and supply terms; manage supplier performance.
