Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Facility Trainer to deliver training for new hires and existing staff, ensuring programs are effective and compliant with safety standards. The role requires coordinating curricula, documenting progress, and adapting plans to changing training needs.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing milestones, and maintaining training records while promoting a safe, secure workplace.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.
• Understanding of problems and the ability to systematically investigate the context and overview.

Responsibilities

• Provides company, regulatory, carrier or practical training for individual or group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees.
• Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.
