Job summary

Sealed Air in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to lead the procurement and inventory management for externally sourced items, ensuring balance between demand, supply and inventory targets.

You will analyze data, support Integrated Business Planning (IBP), optimize SAP reporting, and drive capacity planning, cost improvements, and continuous improvement across the supply chain while collaborating with plants and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP or equivalent) preferred.
• Highly technical and analytical skill set with the ability to analyze large data sets and build models.
• Strong communication and people skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with SAP order management, demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory analysis.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Business Planning & Demand/Supply Alignment: support NAM IBP with data-driven insights.
• Supply, Inventory & Service Performance Management: analyze inventory metrics and mitigate excess/obsolete stock.
• Vendor, Plant & PO Management: manage POs, coordinate with plants and vendors to meet demand and capacity.
• Reporting, Analytics & SAP Optimization: develop and maintain reporting dashboards and improve SAP usage.
• Capacity, Cost & Continuous Improvement: identify root causes and optimize networks for service and landed cost.
