Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Export Operations Supervisor to ensure timely movement of global Tyson products to international customers across all modes of transportation. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with plants, drayage providers, cross-dock facilities and finance to optimize the global supply chain.

The position emphasizes team leadership, strategic planning and continuous improvement, with a focus on risk management and the adoption of automation initiatives to drive

Qualifications

• BS degree in Logistics a plus or BS degree in Business; 3+ years of logistics, distribution, exports/imports and transportation experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and various supply chain operating systems.
• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills; mid to senior level management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and efficient movement of Tyson products to international customers across multiple transportation modes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with plants, drayage providers, cross-dock and cold storage, procurement and finance.
• Lead and develop the team while championing continuous improvement, risk management and contingency planning.
• Promote technology and automation initiatives to improve global product flow and network efficiency.
