Job summary

Sysco is seeking an International Documentation Specialist to generate and review all export documents by country and customer. You will maintain a daily database of shipments and coordinate with government agencies to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities include issuing certificates of insurance, sight drafts for payments, and supporting export sales with document-related issues, freight, and accounting as needed.

Qualifications

• HSD or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of international documentation/logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate all international documents based on the country and/or customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain a daily database of export shipments.
• Coordinate with outside U.S. government departments (USDA, FDA, Chamber of Commerce, etc) to create and issue any required documents.
• Create insurance certificates for all applicable shipments.
• Issue Sight Draft documentation to facilitate customer payment.
• Provide assistance to export sales in resolving commodity, freight, accounting, financing, and other documentation issues.
