Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Export Compliance Professional to lead global classification and licensing efforts for software and hardware products.

Responsibilities include managing deemed export processes, monitoring regulatory changes, and driving metrics for management reporting on export compliance programs. You will work with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to ensure adherence to EAR and encryption regulations in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in export compliance for software/tech.
• 5+ years collaborating with engineers on export controls.
• 5+ years using SNAP-R.
• 3+ years managing an export classification program.
• Nice-to-have: hardware export controls.
• Nice-to-have: non-US export regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct export classification reviews for software/technology items related to Meta products and partnerships.
• Coordinate collection of information and preparation of licenses and declarations, including deemed export licenses.
• Manage compliance and reporting for US and non-US licenses/authorizations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and perform risk assessments for export controls.
• Develop and manage metrics for management reporting on export compliance programs.
• Execute other projects in support of Meta's global trade compliance program.
