Job summary

Wurth Industry North America is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer – Export Compliance to lead the company’s export controls program across EAR, ITAR/USML, OFAC, and related regimes. You will guide classifications, licensing, sanctions screening, AES/EEI filings, and supply chain due diligence, while partnering with logistics, sales, and trade operations to balance compliance with business needs.

This role requires strategic vision and hands-on execution, with responsibility for risk

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Export Compliance Program, including policies, procedures, and training.
• Serve as SME on EAR, ITAR/USML, OFAC sanctions and other federal controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to leadership.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and remedial actions.
• Determine classifications (ECCN, Schedule B, USML) and track licenses.
• Oversee screening of customers and partners and document decisions.
• Coordinate export documentation, AES/EEI filings, and shipment reviews.
• Engage with BIS, OFAC, CBP and other agencies as primary contact.
