Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Export Licensing Specialist to support U.S. EAR licensing and ITAR compliance. You will prepare license applications, evaluate license exceptions, and work with internal teams to ensure compliant international business activities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on EAR licensing experience, familiarity with license classifications, and experience in defense or regulated environments. SNAP-R, DECCS, OCR EASE, and SAP GTS are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on export licensing experience under EAR.
• Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, and license exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Review business activities to determine EAR/ITAR export authorization requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications and supporting docs.
• Evaluate EAR license exceptions and advise on their use.
• Review export classifications, authorizations, and licensing requirements for compliant activities.
• Ensure compliance with license conditions, restrictions, and reporting must be met.
• Maintain export licensing records and supporting documents.
• Conduct peer reviews of license applications and authorizations for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal on licensing needs.
• Develop and maintain trade compliance procedures and training materials.
• Deliver training and awareness programs on export licenses and license exceptions.
• Support audits, investigations, and corrective actions related to licensing.
