Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; global export controls and trade compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of product, software, and technology classifications.
• Experience with software, digital technologies, AI, cloud environments, and tech transfers.
• Familiarity with international export control frameworks and US dual-use regulations.
• Experience interacting with government agencies and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain export control policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and classification methodologies.
• Provide guidance on U.S. EAR, deemed exports, reexports, in-country transfers, and sanctions regulations.
• Lead export compliance initiatives across the product lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute export licensing strategies and support complex authorizations.
• Lead reviews of sensitive transactions involving defense-related programs and high-risk jurisdictions.
• Interface with authorities and external counsel; support audits and disclosures.
