Job summary

Waymo seeks a strategic program leader to drive international expansion, building scalable structures to bring Waymo to new countries and coordinating cross-functional teams across product, engineering, operations, legal, and policy.

The role reports to the Head of Commercialization Program Management, requires 7+ years of experience managing complex programs and strong leadership with clear communication to navigate ambiguity. Occasional travel and collaboration with partners are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing highly complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience driving international expansion programs with market-entry functions.
• Strong leadership and clear verbal/written communication; ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead international expansion programs, building scalable structures for multiple countries.
• Own critical paths for cross-functional activities (product, engineering, operations, legal, policy, external engagement, partner readiness).
• Orchestrate deliverables across internal and external teams and remove blockers.
