Job summary

SEI is seeking a Meeting & Event Planner to lead and execute client, prospect, and employee experiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. You will partner with stakeholders and vendors from brief to post-event follow‑up, balancing creative design with budget discipline and risk management.

You will manage plans, budgets, venues, registration, on-site execution, and post-event reporting while ensuring SEI’s standards and data-driven outcomes. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of meeting, event, conference, or incentive-planning experience with ownership of multiple concurrent programs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong project-management, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills with attention to detail.
• Clear, polished written and verbal communication and ability to work with stakeholders at different levels.
• Client-focused mindset with experience delivering welcoming, responsive attendee experiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; Cvent experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned events from concept through closeout including discovery, objectives, plans, timelines, budgets, venue/vendor coordination, registration, and post-event reporting.
• Serve as primary project manager for program deliverables across Global Marketing, stakeholders, and partners.
• Translate objectives into event strategies, agendas, and experience details aligning with SEI's brand.
• Maintain detailed working documents: budgets, run-of-show, rooming lists, stakeholder updates.
• Manage vendor sourcing, contracts, service expectations, production requirements, and invoice reconciliation.
• Administer event technology and registrations using Cvent, ON24, and Microsoft 365 tools; ensure accurate attendee data.
