Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Director of Global Event Security to lead the global program, ensuring employee and attendee safety while delivering a world-class experience across offices worldwide. You will recruit and mentor a security team, manage multi-year budgets, and develop security playbooks for events of all sizes.

Together with Events, Marketing, IT, Legal and Facilities, you will embed security as a business enabler and coordinate with law enforcement and government agencies, driving strategic risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security-related field.
• 12+ years in security, law enforcement, military, or multinational corporation with leadership progression.
• 5+ years leading and developing teams, including security managers or supervisors.
• 5+ years building large-scale event security programs for global organizations.
• Experience with extensive budgets and large vendor ecosystems.
• Knowledge of security technologies including video management and access control.
• Experience with executive protection teams and high-visibility operations.
• Strong communication and ability to brief senior/board leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global program, driving enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and business continuity with international travel.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performance event security team.
• Build budget and metrics framework, lead multi-year planning, procurement, and contracts.
• Direct threat assessments, risk reviews, and security playbooks for events of all scales.
• Command onsite security operations and coordinate with internal teams for real-time monitoring and incident response.
• Lead event security vendor selection, evaluation, and governance; manage guard forces, access control, medical support, and road closures.
• Partner with Events, Marketing, IT, Legal, and Facilities to embed security as a business enabler.
• Maintain relationships with private security partners, law enforcement, and government agencies; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Produce after-action reports and strategic roadmaps; represent NVIDIA in industry forums.
