Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Director of Global Event Security to lead the worldwide program, safeguard employees and attendees, and deliver a world-class experience. The role requires driving strategy, governance, and business continuity across offices worldwide, with international travel.

You will recruit and mentor a high-caliber security team, manage multi-year budgets and contracts, and produce executive dashboards for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security or related field.
• 12+ years in security, law enforcement, military, or similar multinational corp.
• 5+ years leading and developing teams including security managers or supervisors.
• 5+ years building and leading large-scale event security programs for global organizations (5,000+ attendees).
• Experience handling extensive budgets and large-scale vendor ecosystems.
• Knowledge of security tech including video management and access control systems; GSOC integration.
• Experience with executive protection teams on high-visibility security ops.
• Strong understanding of international security environments, regulations, and fast-paced conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global program, driving strategy, governance, and continuity with international travel.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor event security personnel to drive excellence.
• Build and manage budget, procurement, and contracts; deliver executive dashboards to leadership.
• Direct threat assessments and develop security plans and playbooks for events of all sizes.
• Command onsite security operations and collaborate with internal teams for real-time monitoring, threat intel, and incident response.
• Lead event security vendor selection and governance, manage guard forces and access controls.
