Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Director of Events to lead planning and delivery of its flagship events, partnering with business units, product teams, marketing, communications, and executive leadership.

You will own the events strategy, guide multi-team workstreams, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and drive on-site execution and post-event evaluation.

This role requires 60% travel domestically and internationally; base salary ranges from 216,000 to 345,000 USD, with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of event management experience with 5+ years in management at a major technology company.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience owning events of 10,000+ attendees, multi-day formats with keynotes, breakouts, exhibitions and networking.
• Ability to manage large event budgets with full financial oversight.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% domestically and internationally.
• Deep expertise in event production: staging, A/V, venue negotiations, vendor management, on-site logistics.
• Executive presence and communication skills; comfortable with C-suite interactions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall strategy for flagship events, defining goals and success metrics with senior leadership.
• Coordinate across business units, product, marketing, and communications to align events with priorities.
• Guide and manage teams through ideas, planning, delivery, and post-event evaluation.
• Drive the creative and experiential vision in collaboration with creative and brand teams.
• Manage multi-million dollar budgets with cost tracking and forecast accuracy.
• Serve as primary executive contact, providing updates and strategic recommendations.
• Lead vendor, agency, and venue relationships to ensure top-quality delivery.
• Develop and manage master event timelines with cross-workstream mapping.
