FedEx Corporation is seeking an ESG Reporting and Compliance Principal to shape and drive the ESG roadmap across a global organization. You will ensure governance, policies, and disclosures meet SEC/CSRD and other standards, while partnering with technology, finance, and sustainability teams to elevate data architecture and reporting processes.

The role requires strategic thinking, trend monitoring, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, auditable ESG disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, accounting, finance, sustainability or a similar discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Seven (7) years professional experience in SOX compliance, sustainability and ESG disclosures, financial reporting, or auditing and assurance or related area.

Responsabilités

• Serves as a subject matter expert on global ESG reporting matters and ensures reporting aligned to regulatory requirements (SEC, CSRD) and trends.
• Orchestrates and drafts ESG disclosures across multiple regulatory requirements to ensure consistency.
• Leads benchmarking to identify ESG reporting best practices and improvement opportunities.
• Prepares ESG reporting-related presentations and documents for management, board of directors, etc.
• Establishes governance and control framework that complies with ESG reporting standards and regulations.
• Implements and maintains an ESG internal control program’s components, including data capture and risk controls.
• Coordinates with internal and external auditors for review, assurance of ESG reporting and remediation actions.
• Monitors changes to ESG regulations and implements changes to accounting/reporting policies and processes.
• Partners with technology, finance, sustainability, and business to design and improve ESG data architecture, reporting processes, data pipelines, and governance.
• Lead the transformation and automation of ESG reporting processes through scalable data engineering solutions, analytics and cloud technologies.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, automated validation routines, and auditable ESG disclosures.
• Collaborate with digital and engineering teams to leverage automation, AI, predictive analytics, and emerging technologies.
