Job summary

Alteva RCM in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Payment Posting & ERA Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end processing of ERAs and manage an overseas team, ensuring accurate posting and timely reconciliation within the health information billing system.

You will drive performance, establish SOPs, collaborate with IT and vendors, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and contracts while optimizing revenue cycle operations at a global scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, focusing on ERA/payment posting operations
• 2+ years in a leadership/management capacity, preferably remote/overseas teams
• Proficiency with Health Information Billing Software (Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, AdvancedMD)
• Strong knowledge of EDI 835 transaction sets and clearinghouse platforms
• Familiarity with payer portals, ERA enrollment, and ERA reconciliation processes
• Experience managing cross-timezone operations and remote team communication tools

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and oversee a remote overseas ERA operations team
• Establish clear performance expectations, workflows, and quality standards
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching and development
• Coordinate across time zones for seamless operations
• Oversee daily ERA download and posting across all payers
• Ensure accurate posting of payments, adjustments, and denials
• Troubleshoot ERA file transmissions and resolve issues
• Develop and present performance metrics to senior leadership
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal audits
