Datadog seeks an Equity Administration Assistant Manager to own complex equity workstreams globally. You will prepare and review equity transactions, develop process documentation, and collaborate with Accounting, Tax, People Operations, Payroll, and Legal.

The role emphasizes hands-on equity experience, leadership development, and automation initiatives within a hybrid Datadog office environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of equity or stock plan administration experience, including time at a U.S. public company.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
CEP designation preferred or in progress.
Deep hands-on experience with a stock plan administration platform, E*TRADE Equity Edge Online strongly preferred.
Solid knowledge of equity mechanics, U.S. and international tax withholding and reporting, ASC 718, SOX controls.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing equity transactions across RSU releases, ESPP purchases, option exercises, and related activity.
Oversee high-risk and complex equity administration areas.
Review new equity grants and ensure proper approvals and controls are followed.
Maintain process narratives, procedures, and calendars for audit-ready cycles.
Drive initiatives and projects, focusing on automation and AI-assisted solutions.
Coordinate with People Ops, Legal, Payroll, Tax, and Accounting.
Support global equity reporting and international tax compliance.
Work with Payroll and Tax to ensure accurate equity income and withholding data.
Support SOX control evidence and responses to audits.
Assist with Section 16 and 10b5-1 plan administration.
