Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks an Equipment Quality Program Manager to strengthen the Data Center Engineering & Construction team. This role leads the equipment quality program, defines standards, and oversees a team to implement quality processes globally for new and expanding vendor portfolios.

You will drive first-of-kind commissioning, ensure equipment meets project goals, and collaborate with design, procurement, and operations to keep projects on track across our global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in QA/QC or commissioning in data centers.
• Strong knowledge of power and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Expand and complete setting up our Equipment Quality Program with measurable quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Operations to adjust equipment for operation and safety.
• Ensure QTS BOD compliance with correct specifications for equipment.
• Lead teams to address issues identified by quality metrics across projects.
• Develop vendor inspection and commissioning processes for quality outcomes.
• Create and maintain standards to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Build and mentor a vendor-facing team for quality expectations and communications.
• Train teams on quality processes for equipment manufacturing and testing.
