Job summary

The LEGO Group in the United States (Richmond, VA) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive cross‑functional initiatives in packaging, equipment and process innovations. You will manage time plans, coordinate resources, and ensure budgets align with strategic goals across global LEGO plants.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of project management experience in a global setting, strong technical background in machinery, and advanced skills in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years overall work experience, preferably global environment with cross-cultural communication.
• 2+ years in project or platform management.
• Interest in modern technologies and consumer trends.
• Advanced MS Office 365 skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings (AutoCAD, 3D models).
• Self-driven, communicative and curious; experience in technical development projects.
• Technical background about machines/equipment; familiarity with project management tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Project is mandatory at LEGO Group.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives projects according to LEGO Project Model (LPM).
• Prepares and modifies project time plans according to gathered specialist knowledge and evolving environment.
• Ensures resource alignment, load and allocation (project participants).
• Secures project budget, approves spending, escalates overspend and manages changes.
