Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with extensive EM/contamination control experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing EM programs across multiple sites.
• 10+ years in biotech/biologics with GMP environmental monitoring exposure.
• 5+ years in people leadership and global program ownership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead global EM governance across biologics and cell therapy sites.
• Define standards, sampling strategies, monitoring frequencies, and alert limits.
• Lead network-level EM data trending and cross-site evaluation.
• Develop a consistent global approach for trend evaluation, excursion categorization, and CAPA linkage.
• Coordinate cross-site responses to significant EM excursions with stakeholders.
• Serve as SME for EM during deviations, contamination events, or regulatory inspections.
• Align EM programs with Contamination Control Strategy and aseptic processing expectations.
• Lead governance forums and establish global metrics and dashboards.
• Support regulatory inspections and internal audits with clear, data-driven narratives.
