Job summary
HNI Corporation is seeking an Sr. Manager, Enterprise Network Operations to lead the reliability, security, and performance of our global enterprise network and telecommunications services.
The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic modernization across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity. The position is based at HNI's IT Headquarters in Muscatine, IA with at least 50% onsite presence, leading the Networking & Telecommunications team and collaborating with
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise network engineering, network operations, or telecommunications roles.
- 5+ years leading network or telecommunications engineering teams.
- Experience managing network connectivity across hybrid environments spanning cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Strong background in enterprise network architecture, routing and switching, and network operations at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term operational strategy and project roadmap for enterprise networking and telecommunications.
- Collaborate with architects on network roadmaps that support application modernization and digital workplace initiatives.
- Ensure network architecture and operations align with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate emerging network technologies to improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee design and evolution of LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments across sites.
- Own enterprise telecommunications services including VoIP, SIP trunking, and UCaaS platforms.
- Maintain ITIL-aligned service management and establish SLOs for network services.
- Oversee vendor and carrier management and lifecycle planning for network technologies.
