Job summary
Sedgman is seeking a Director of Engineering, Systems & Digital to lead global transformation of engineering delivery, establishing governance, standards and scalable frameworks. You will champion integrated digital engineering, data and AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, quality and predictability across regions.
This role can be based out of our Phoenix, Montreal or Vancouver offices, and you will partner with regional leadership to align engineering capability with business
Qualifications
- 20+ years in engineering design across minerals processing, oil and gas, chemical.
- Senior leadership across multi-discipline engineering teams.
- Strong EPCM experience, including systems integration and governance.
- Deep understanding of digital engineering, data and AI-enabled capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and adoption of engineering governance frameworks, systems and standards.
- Provide functional leadership for global engineering systems, standards and governance.
- Align engineering processes and tools for efficient, scalable delivery.
- Champion integrated digital engineering, data and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Establish a consistent global approach to engineering execution and delivery performance.
- Utilise data and performance insights to improve quality and outcomes.
- Drive governance of engineering systems, software vendors and investments.
- Partner with regional leadership to align capability with business priorities.
