Job summary

Eaton’s GEIS division seeks an Engineering Services Manager at the Syracuse, NY facility with ~25% travel and relocation assistance. Lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering engineered project solutions to domestic and international customers, driving revenue and enabling rapid project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years in engineering/operations/project management in manufacturing.
• 4+ years leading global teams.
• 2+ years of commercial/customer experience interfacing with customers.
• No immigration sponsorship support for this position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop and implement a technical service strategy that supports global growth.
• Utilize project management to prioritize escalations, improve response times, and drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Establish and execute annual stretch targets for revenue, margin, and service levels.
• Develop and monitor team metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive process improvements for Engineering Technical Services and Seismic ETO/MTO teams.
• Manage customer-facing and customer service tool pipeline.
• Maintain a highly motivated workforce with strong engagement.
• Engage with global ETO and Engineering Services to identify efficiencies and harmonize ways of working.
• Attract, develop, train, and motivate the technical support organization; build succession plans.
• Develop scalable technical talent development strategies and onboarding programs.
