Job summary

Eaton's GEIS division seeks a Commercial Engineering Manager based in Highland, IL. The role reports to the VP of Engineering and leads Commercial Engineering teams across NPI, VAVE, Certification, and Sustaining to align with product-line objectives.

This position emphasizes developing talent, driving project milestones, and coordinating with global locations to execute engineering strategies and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum ten years’ work experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum five years of direct leadership of people experience.

Responsibilities

• Works with Vice President of Engineering to maintain and execute a 3-year technology roadmap.
• Directly oversees Engineering functions across the Commercial platform (NPI, VAVE, Certification, Sustaining).
• Manages workforce engagement and development of Commercial Engineering teams.
• Partners with Global Product Line Managers to drive project execution and milestones.
