Hatch is seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group in Salt Lake City, UT. This role offers the opportunity to lead integrated, multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex projects across the United States and globally.

As a senior member, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship while applying your expertise in mechanical design, piping systems, stress analysis, and hydraulic engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE license preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and piping engineering activities across projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and cost with Engineering Manager.
• Define deliverables and execution strategies for design evolution.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and conduct site visits as required.
• Review and approve technical deliverables and ensure quality compliance.
