TotalEnergies is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive expansion of its trading footprint across physical commodities. You will originate opportunities, structure multi‑product transactions, and collaborate with global teams from Houston to Geneva and beyond.

You will evaluate midstream assets, negotiate complex contracts, and deliver governance‑level business cases to support strategic investments and market access across the Americas.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within Trading, Midstream, Downstream, or related commercial environments.
• Deep understanding of energy market fundamentals, pricing mechanisms, and commercial levers across the energy value chain.
• Demonstrated success leading high‑value commercial initiatives from opportunity identification to deal execution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trading operations, logistics, shipping, and risk management.

Aufgaben

• Identify, originate, and develop new business opportunities across the Americas, including Latin America, the Caribbean, U.S. export markets, and domestic U.S. trading activities, to expand market presence.
• Structure and execute complex cross‑desk and cross‑product transactions, including processing agreements, product swaps, multi‑product portfolios, and long‑term supply and offtake agreements.
• Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with counterparties to expand trading activities and exposure to international markets.
• Originate and develop pre‑financed offtake opportunities for crude oil and refined products in collaboration with the Structured Origination & Finance team.
• Lead evaluation, negotiation, and execution of investments, acquisitions, and long‑term lease agreements for midstream logistics assets.
• Prepare and present business cases and project dossiers for internal governance including CORISK and COMEX.
