Job summary

AAF International in Louisville is seeking an Energy Project Engineer to own the technical scope of assigned projects, from design and cost to schedule and customer interface. You will deliver engineering packages compliant with contract requirements and AAF standards.

The role involves coordinating internal and external resources, reviewing specifications, and maintaining deliverable schedules while managing costs and risks. Strong communication, multi-tasking, and field experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in technical industry preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Travel may be required; passport holders preferred.
• Knowledge of field manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to deliver an engineering package compliant with contract specifications.
• Be the primary technical contact between customer and AAF on engineering issues.
• Maintain engineering deliverable schedules and inform project manager of risks or schedule changes.
• Maintain total engineering cost and advise project manager on risks and opportunities.
• Review client change requests and assess impact to engineering and scope; discuss with client as needed.
• Direct internal and external resources to obtain on-time engineering deliverables.
• Produce, review, and approve all engineering deliverables for projects assigned.
• Support sales and applications team with bid data and development.
• Provide on-site advisor support at supplier and customer locations.
