Job summary

Stantec in Denver seeks a Communications Lead for Leadership & Functional Communications to develop and deliver strategies that reach our people and advance the company's strategic plan. You will partner with global leaders across Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Growth & Innovation to craft content for email, intranet, thought leadership, and video briefs, guiding messages for diverse audiences.

This role requires strong writing, relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or marketing preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in communications within large, complex organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver impactful communications plans with campaigns and timelines.
Manage partnerships across the business to align practices with outcomes.
Create content across channels: email, intranet, thought leadership, video briefs.
Understand operational priorities and audience needs for targeted messages.
Build trusted relationships with leaders to enable clear, timely communications.
Identify key issues by gathering information from multiple sources.
Communicate with purpose to inform, engage, and drive behavior change.
Manage multiple priorities, assess urgency, maintain quality.
Monitor and measure communications effectiveness across channels.
Collaborate with marketing, PR, design, and North America teams.
