Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. is seeking a Global Category Manager - Electronics in Fort Wayne, IN to lead the electronics category strategy and supplier relationships. This role drives multi-year plans, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure supply continuity and cost effectiveness.

You will mentor teammates, support NPI involvement, and push for regionalization while leveraging ERP tools and BI analytics to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years in category management/strategic sourcing, electronics space preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP, logistics, warehousing, importing/exporting and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert for electronics category, including product knowledge and market dynamics.
• Develops and executes multi-year global category strategies for electronic components.
• Drafts and negotiates supplier contracts and MSAs; manages terms and pricing.
• Leads regionalization and dual-sourcing to reduce risk and total cost of ownership.
• Mentors junior category managers and supports NPI/VA/VE initiatives.
