Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Global Category Manager for EE components, PCBs, FPCAs, and related suppliers to drive strategic sourcing for Amazon Leo hardware.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations, legal and supply chain to negotiate master agreements, drive cost reductions, and ensure on-time delivery across domestic and international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years in component lifecycle management.
• Experience with last time buy (LTB) execution and alternate sourcing qualifications.
• Knowledge of EE components, PCBs, FPCAs and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, performance, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost/quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, program, legal, and supply chain teams to define product requirements and contracts.
• Develop forecasting and capacity communication for sustaining and new products.
• Negotiate term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, and other agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance including financial health, on-time delivery, and quality.
• Travel to supplier sites as needed (approx. 15%).
