Eaton is seeking a Global Category Manager - Electronics in a hybrid setup with locations across Beachwood, OH, Charlotte, NC, Highland, IL, and other sites. You will lead global category strategies for electronics, manage supplier relationships, and drive strategic sourcing for a $600M spend portfolio to support Eaton's supply chain priorities.

The role emphasizes cost-out, risk mitigation, supplier performance, and continuous improvement, with travel and a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of electronics manufacturing/sourcing experience.
• No relocation is available for this position.
• Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood OH, Charlotte NC, Highland IL, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC OR Syracuse NY.

Responsabilités

• Lead global category and sourcing strategies to drive Cost Out, DPO, Supplier Diversity Spend, and Quality.
• Develop and execute enterprise sourcing initiatives that increase leverage and deliver sustainable cost savings.
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier contracts to maximize value and supply continuity.
• Define and govern category strategies using market intelligence, RFQs, e-auctions, and supplier engagement programs.
• Guide regional and cross-functional teams to achieve procurement, operational, and transformation goals.
• Drive supplier performance management, annual business reviews, and strategic negotiations with key suppliers.
