Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, EHSS Assurance/Strategy/Standards/OE, located in Raynham, MA or Warsaw, IN. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to strengthen global EHSS systems, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to influence safety, environment, and sustainability outcomes, leading audits and embedding risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, life sciences, EHSS, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred in engineering, quality, business, or related field.
• Typically 8–10 years of progressive EHSS or operational excellence experience in regulated industries.
• Experience leading EHSS strategy, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives globally.
• Strong knowledge of EHSS systems, regulatory requirements, and audit processes.
• Proven people leadership experience including coaching and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve EHSS Assurance, Strategy, Standards, and OE initiatives across the organization.
• Deploy global standards, policies, and governance aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma-based improvements to quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Prepare for and lead internal, external, and regulatory audits with remediation of findings.
• Monitor quality metrics and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide leadership and development for the quality and OE teams.
