Job summary

CAIRE is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader in Ball Ground, GA to guide training and EHS programs across the organization. You will oversee compliance, develop best practices, and lead cross-functional teams to meet ISO 14001:2015 standards and sustainability goals.

The role requires at least 5 years in EH&S with regulatory know-how, OSHA 30-hour, CPR/AED/First Aid, and strong leadership to drive safety culture and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years in EHS, manufacturing processes, or consulting with emphasis on textile/manufacturing compliance.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
• Analytical tools to identify and drive improvements.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Strategic thinker with ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Training and EHS teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across sites globally to improve EHS objectives.
• Develop and sustain EHS procedures aligned with regulations.
• Lead KPI reporting to Executive leadership on ESG/OSHA metrics.
• Maintain environmental permits and submit reports to agencies.
• Lead ISO 14001:2015 EMS implementation and certification efforts.
• Drive sustainability projects to reduce energy use, emissions, and waste.
• Develop training programs for production staff and ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
